Pregnant ... Again...

Weeks had gone by and she could feel herself getting bigger, feel the foal inside her starting to move about. She was tired. Tired of the games and all these damn studs. Thinking they can talk to her however they damn please. If it wasn't for Emily that stallion would need a new ass to sit on. Thaleia glared hard into the approaching storm ... anger boiled within. 

She felt the foal kick in her belly. This one was a hyper one. Always pushing about, kicking, at one point it felt as if he was running! Yes, he. She was sure it was a he. No one knew though, they wanted to keep it a secret. They only checked on me to make sure I was okay and make sure the baby was healthy. So far so good. A healthy baby. She couldn't wait to birth the foal. Well, she would just like to fast forward that ENTIRE part. Birthing isn't fun. Not to mention, birthing 10 foals in the past! She shudders at the thought. After this, Emily spoke to her about only three more foals would come from me. Just three. And she would be done. Unless someone offered a bajillion dollars. Seriously, who would say no to that? No one, not even the one that will have to carry that precious critter. 

As much as she hated the stallions she always loved and nurtured each foal in her care. She smiles at her stomach, knowing this will be the last one for quite some time. She glances back watching the herd growing weary. Not many do so great during storms, but Thaleia. Thaleia is always known for standing out in the lightning storm while the rain pounded down into her coat. It was a great way of letting things go and a nice way for her tears to be hidden. She believed she was the only one who felt such a burden to foal such wondrous, beautiful, and elegant critters. She was being used so some other human could take her baby away. That pain has long since bothered her since her first born Fili came into the world.

She laughed to herself, thinking of when he first stumbled trying to reach and be close to her. His first hundred steps were messy and he would always fall over. She was hard on him, but soft at the same time. Always calling softly from a few feet away, encouraging him to get up. He always had that "I am a leader, not a follower" look in his eyes. 

"Come on, baby, get up for Mama," Thaleia cooed. Fili grunted as he tried to make use of his long, slender legs. After about 15 minutes of pure grunts and a little help from Mom, he was up and nursing. Thaleia stood allowing her son to eat and herself to eat a little something after hours upon hours of pushing. As petite he looked, he was hard and painful to get out. She smiled at her son,  as he finished and started to lay down by the cherry tree. Thaleia laid as close as her back allowed her onto the Cherry Tree and Fili laid with her. He snuggled close to Thaleia for warmth. Thaleia watched as the sun rose high over the land and waited until everyone else awoke from their slumbers. 

Tears filled her eyes, she missed all her babies. All were taken away from her in the last 10 consecutive years... She only got to be in their life for barely a year before each were taken away to the homes of strangers. Thaleia didn't want to lose another baby. Then again, Emily did mention this was a special pregnancy. She didn't want to put faith and hope into something that seemed so far fetched, but maybe.. just maybe.. she will get to keep this one. Maybe this baby that rolled about inside of her will get to stay at Mossy Oak forever. Maybe she will get to see her young foal grow. Maybe, just maybe, she will not have to worry about who is going to take care of her baby. Maybe, for once, she will know her baby is safe and will always be close to her. Maybe, just maybe, this baby will be hers... forever.

Okay, I didn't want to give this away, but I really need to get her Kaaring rolling AND to show more character of Thaleia. Allow me to show her broken side... She loves every single one of her foals and each time she has weaned off her foals, some human from another stable has come and taken her baby from her. Fili was her biggest heart break. Fili was always attached to her hip and when Thaleia saw him being taken away to DWS her heart broke into a thousand and one pieces. She felt betrayed. Her first ever foal and he just HAD to be sold to another stable? Why couldn't he stay? Was something wrong with him? Was he not good enough to stay with her? A million questions filled her but she knew this would not be the last time. This would happen again when it became breeding season....

For every one who has a foal to Thaleia they will each get an image of them together! Each will show the happy memories they shared, <3 

For this time, Thaleia is just pictured but blackwing-fang 's gelding 7055 DWS Fili of Erebor**** is mentioned! They WILL get their own image and story together. This was just a kick to get the ball rolling. Fili just happen to be FIRST on the list, <3 Sorry, not sorry.
